Saving souls, one song at a time.

…sometimes all of our thoughts are misleading…

I love my Shuffle

iPod Shuffle

About 1 month ago, I picked up a 512 MB version of the iPod Shuffle for my wife. She likes to walk, and it seemed like a perfect way to encourage her to take longer, more relaxed trips. I hooked it up to her iBook, put some of her favorite songs on it, and voila! it was done. Then, of course, I had to give it a try… so tossed the lanyard over my head, popped in the earbuds, set it to Shuffle and took the dog out for a walk. 20 minutes later, I knew I had to have one for myself.

I’ve been a happy iPod owner since the original 5 GB model. I own a 20 GB, 4th generation click wheel iPod that has become lonely and unused… because I now have my own personal 1 GB Shuffle.

If you have the need for a personal music player, and you don’t want to carry around an entire music collection with you, go out and buy a Shuffle. You will not be dissapointed. :)

Focus on the Family?

Dr. James Dobson is at it again.

Last time, it was a focus on cartoon characters and a video about celebrating diversity to the tune of “We are Family.” Now, he’s comparing our Judges and Justices to the Ku Klux Klan.

Dr. Dobson has turned his sights from Spongebob to “judicial tyranny.”

Where will Dr. Dobson go next? I’m interested to see…

Click here to see the “Focus on the Family” website. It is a noble effort to help people guide their families in a Christian way. But where does this effort end, and promotion of blatantly partisan secular politics begin? For all those who believe that “judicial tyranny” actually exists, there are many that believe that President Bush is leading a “theocratic tyranny.”

I suppose that it is all a matter of perspective.
